Garcia & Artigliere elder abuse attorney Stephen Garcia filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of the firm’s elderly client and additional class members who suffered financial harm due to the deceptive business practices of Hanford Post Acute, a California skilled nursing facility.
The lawsuit asserts that during the Plaintiffs’ admissions process, Hanford Post Acute intentionally concealed it could not provide required care to residents and was severely understaffed. Further, the facility did not allocate sufficient financial resources to protect the health and safety of residents. Had the Plaintiffs been aware of Hanford Post Acute’s substandard care, they would not have agreed to become residents or paid substantial money to the facility.
