Richard “Taylor” Garcia

Attorney

Richard “Taylor” Garcia is the son of firm founder Stephen Garcia and has assisted with the firm’s trial practice since 2022, first as a law clerk and now as a California-licensed attorney. In these two roles, Taylor has been an integral part of Garcia & Coman’s efforts, which have resulted in more than $100 million in verdicts and settlements on behalf of aggrieved elders and dependent adults throughout the United States.

Taylor brings to litigation the same intensity, focus, and commitment that he brought to his athletic career. From 2016 until his retirement from the sport in 2025, Taylor was consistently ranked among the top three water skiers in the world. He was honored to represent the United States as a member of Team USA, winning multiple team and individual gold medals and earning numerous podium finishes.

Taylor brings a unique perspective, extensive knowledge, and a deep commitment to long-term care litigation. Having supported his father in this work for many years, Taylor applies the same competitive drive and determination that contributed to his success as an athlete on the world stage.

Taylor is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where he competed on the water ski team and helped earn multiple individual and team national championships. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law.
