Archives, Trucking Accidents

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 27-year old woman, was weaving in and out of the northbound lanes while driving the wrong way on US 27 late the other night.  A semi-truck driver, spotted the weaving car and swerved to avoid a head-on collision.  Unfortunately, they ended up side-swiping each other and both vehicles stopped on the side of the road.

The woman sustained minor injuries; however, her vehicle had about $8,000 worth of damages.  The truck driver was not hurt but his truck had over $15,000 in damages.  Charges are pending once the investigation is complete.
