Pensacola, Florida – scene of 18-wheeler crash

Archives, Trucking Accidents

Recently the Florida Highway Patrol investigated a crash involving an 18-wheeler and a passenger vehicle that injured three people, including two children.  It seems the passenger vehicle did not stop at the end of Highway 164 and Highway 29 when the crash occurred.  The female driver, drove into the path of the semi truck, which was on Highway 29 – resulting in the semi running over the front of the vehicle, completely flattening it.

The woman and her two children, ages 12 and 8, were taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.  The woman told police that her brakes failed – leading to the crash.  The crash is under investigation.
