Garcia & Artigliere

Elder abuse law firm Garcia & Artigliere announced the addition of attorney Christopher Piekarski in the firm’s Louisville office. Mr. Piekarski has extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation, personal injury, product liability, premises liability, and contract disputes. In addition, he has resolved claims through settlement and mediation and has worked with defense experts in preparation for depositions and trials. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Piekarski was litigator with a defense firm in Louisville, where he successfully defended clients before courts in Kentucky, Ohio, and Florida. He has represented physicians, long-term care facility employees and administrators, and insurance companies in progressing claims through mediation and trial.

“Christopher’s knowledge in representing long-term care facilities and insurance adjusters makes him a valuable addition. He possesses a breadth of knowledge that many attorneys don’t,” said Founding Partner Stephen M. Garcia. “We are pleased to have him join our team.”

Mr. Piekarski obtained his Juris Doctor from Louis D. Brandeis School of Law of the University of Louisville and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Western Illinois University. While in law school, he was a member and Articles Editor of Brandeis Law Journal, in which he published, “The Effect of an Increasingly Mobile Society on Kentucky’s Grandparent Visitation Statute”. He was also Facilitator of Client Counseling for the Moot Court Team and a member of the Moot Court Board.
