Three Semi-Trucks Crash in Clewiston
The Florida Highway Patrol reported recently that a crash early one morning involving three semi-trucks on US-27 in Clewiston killed one man and injured another one.
It seems one trucker, stopped his semi to check his tire. A second trucker stopped to help. A third driver, a 44-year old truck driver, came along and could not stop fast enough to avoid a collision; he died at the scene. The other driver suffered minor injuries and went to a local hospital for treatment.
The first trucker was charged with unlawful stopping in the road. Florida Highway Patrol investigated the accident and road for several hours. I urge the trucker to consult with an experienced Truck Accident Attorney immediately.
