Bayou George, Florida School Bus Crash

A 77-year old driver in Bayou George, Florida recently ran a stop sign and hit the back of a school bus, causing the bus to roll over on its side. It is fortunate that no one was seriously injured.

The school bus driver was treated for injuries; he was not taken to a hospital. The bus had only one student on it – who was not wearing a seat belt. He was taken to the hospital by his parents and treated for minor injuries.

The accident is under investigation. The 77-year old driver was charged with a stop sign violation. I wish the two passengers on the bus a speedy recovery.
