Bayou George, Florida school bus crash

Archives, Trucking Accidents

A 77-year old driver in Bayou George, Florida recently ran a stop sign and hit the back of a school bus, causing the bus to roll over on its side.  It is fortunate that no one was serious injured.

The school bus driver was treated for injuries; he was not taken to a hospital.  The bus had only one student on it – who was not wearing a seat belt.  He was taken to the hospital by his parents and treated for minor injuries.

The accident is under investigation.  The 77-year old driver was charged with a stop sign violation.  I wish the two passengers on the bus a speedy recovery.  It may be wise for them to contact an experienced Florida Truck Accident attorney to see if they can receive compensation for their medical expenses.
