Mark A. Schadrack
Mr. Schadrack has specialized in civil litigation since 1985. He has also handled transactional work since 1997. His experience includes a broad range of civil litigation, including investment fraud, unfair competition, intellectual property matters, corporate shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, contract disputes, insurance coverage disputes, collection matters, employment disputes, real property disputes and personal injury matters.
Mr. Schadrack started off his career at O’Melveny & Myers, where he worked on several high profile matters, including the multi-billion dollar Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant rate case before the Public Utilities Commission.
After Mr. Schadrack left O’Melveny & Myers, he became an associate at Pettis, Tester, Kruse & Krinsky in Orange County. In 1991, Mr. Schadrack became a founding member of Grant & Laubscher. While at Grant & Laubscher, Mr. Schadrack obtained one of the largest verdicts ever in Orange County ($95,000,000) in the case of General Bedding Corp. v. Echeverria.
In 1997, Mr. Schadrack started his own law firm, which eventually became Schadrack & Chapman, LLP. While at Schadrack & Chapman, LLP, Mr. Schadrack obtained several successful verdicts and judgments, including a $1,048,976 judgment in a hard fought trademark dispute in federal court in Los Angeles (Cyclone USA, Inc. v. LL&C Dealer Services, LLC). Mr. Schadrack has also handled numerous successful appeals, including Injen Technology Co., LTD. v. Kim and King v. Kallestad.
Mr. Schadrack is a former international water ski competitor. He also competed at a national level in snow skiing for several years.
